Loch Ryan Ferries

Ferry services connect Loch Ryan in Scotland with Northern Ireland

 

Stena Line operate from North Cairnryan to Belfast (see blue route on map to left)

 

P&O operate from South Cairnryan to Larne (see purple route on map to left)

 

Both services allow for all year round travel to Belfast city centre within around 3 hours.

 

Rhins of Galloway is marked by the blue rectangle & arrow, on the map to left. A one minute drive away from the P&O Cairnryan ferry terminal and two minutes from the new Stena Line Cairnryan terminal, we are ideally located for the ferry services to Northern Ireland.

P&O

Cairnryan to Larne ferry crossing takes around 2 hours  for the Superferry, and 1 hour for the Express fastcraft (http://www.poirishsea.com/passenger/timetables.htm). It takes around 20 minutes to disembark

If travelling into the centre of Belfast, it will take around 30 minutes to travel the 22 miles from Larne ferry terminal to Belfast city centre (for full directions, specify "BT40 1" as start destination and Belfast as end destination to http://www.mapquest.co.uk/mq/directions/mapbydirection.do).

Stena Line

Cairnryan to Belfast journey takes around 2 hours for the Superferry (http://www.stenaline.co.uk/ferry/fares-and-timetables/). It takes around 20 minutes to disembark

If travelling into the centre of Belfast, it will take around 8 minutes to travel the 4 miles from Victoria Terminal 4, to Belfast City Centre.
